OSKALOOSA — Oskaloosa experienced a little hiccup Tuesday, but it recovered for a 7-4 victory over Norwalk in girls tennis action.

The Indians took the court just one day after playing all day in the conference meet. Laura Tucker scored the first win for Oskaloosa with a 6-2, 7-6 (7-4) win in the No. 1 singles.

In the No. 3 singles match, Jennifer Vonk won for the Indians 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (10-6). Jessica Harwood won her No. 4 singles match for Oskaloosa 6-1, 6-1.

The Indians took control of the dual in the doubles portion. Vonk and Harwood combined for a 6-3, 6-3 victory.

In the No. 3 doubles match, Cassie Abbas and LeAnan White won 7-6 (7-4), 6-2. Kelsie McDowell and Lenka Kopeckova also won their doubles match.

The last victory for Oskaloosa came from the team of Suzy Garcia and Lauren Childs in the No. 5 doubles match.

No. 4 — Kelsie McDowell/Lenka Kopeckova (O) defeated Halie Kinman/Emma George 6-2, 6-1. No. 5 — Suzy Garcia/Lauren Childs (O) defeated Taylor Tomlinson/Bri Mouw 6-2, 6-3.

Centerville cruises past Clarke
