AREA VOLLEYBALL ACTION: Van Buren splits at Harmony Triangular
Area Volleyball Action
HARMONY — The Van Buren volleyball team split a pair of matches at the Harmony Triangular on Thursday. The Warriors beat the hosting Rockets 26-24, 25-13, 25-23 before losing to top-ranked, unbeaten Holy Trinity 25-12, 25-10 and 25-12.
Morgan Caves led the Warriors in serving on the day, going 16-18 with four aces. Michelle Tedrow led Van Buren at the net with 10 kills and six blocks.
The Warrior spikers head right back to Farmington for a number of matches on Saturday. Van Buren joins Cardinal as part of the Harmony Tournament.
