Pella Christian the Trojans’ 6-2 lead in half in the fifth and brought the game-winning run to the plate in the seventh before Darrin Dimmitt record the save with a strikeout in the bottom of the seventh.

Fairfield (12-7) returned to a tight battle for the SEC crown with a battle for first-place in a doubleheader at home against Mount Pleasant Monday as the Courier went to press. The Trojans step back out of conference for a road test at Mid-Prairie tonight.
