MSAE's De Angelis takes 2nd at conference tourney

---- — FT. MADISON — Mickey De Angelis of the Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment claimed runner-up status in the SEISC tournament with a round of 79 Monday and Tuesday at the Sheaffer Memorial Golf Course.

The Pioneers took fourth in the tourney with 368 and Van Buren snared sixth with 376. For the Warriors, Austin Bartholomeu notched the top score with a round of 86. Noah Whitten finished eight strokes behind her teammate with a 94 and Pioneer Prasad Monk shot a round of 95.

Davin Titus of MSAE and Brandon Plecker of Van Buren both carded a 96 . Pioneer Tomas Brousquet finished with a round of 98 and Warrior Tyler Overstreet and Maharishi’s Brandon Prather-Huf both carded a 100. Rounding things out for the Pioneers was Nathaniel Zhu, who shot a 104. Warrior Colton Gates shot a 103 and Van Buren’s Braxton Bainbridge carded a 106.
