Finally on the board: After suffering 17-straight losses to open the season, Clinton finally earned its first win of the season on Wednesday night with a 104-60 victory over the St. Ambrose JV. Prior to Wednesday, the Cougars were averaging just 58.5 points per game.
IHCC is No. 1: The Warriors 124-115 regional win over Northeast on Wednesday helped the Warriors to secure its spot as the nation's top offense. IHCC's current points-per-game average of 115.9 is over five points better than Temple College, which had been held below 100 points in five of its past six games including a mere 61 points in a 10-point loss Wednesday to Hill College. Indian Hills has an excellent to keep up its top national scoring pace tonight against Clinton based on recent history. The Warriors beat the Cougars last year in the Hy-Vee Classic, 121-63, in the last meeting between the two teams
