Sigourney boys fall to Keota

---- — SIGOURNEY —The Sigourney boys basketball team fell to Keota 85-57 Friday despite having three players score in double figures.

Kevin Weber shepherded the Savage offense with a team-best 18 points Colby Kerkove tossed in 14 and drilled four 3-pointers. In addition, Blaine Gretter scored 12 points and corralled four rebounds.

"I thought we did some good things offensively, but we really struggled on the defensive end tonight," Sigourney coach Mitch Eslick said. "It was a competitive game for the first 10 to 12 minutes, but then they kind of pulled away."

Sigourney (3-13, 3-13) play host to Pekin today in a non-conference game.
