Warriors pull away from Cardinal in second half for SEISC South win

(Continued)

In addition, Autumn McDanel catalyzed the Mohawk defense with 11 steals and Clark swatted a team-high six shots.

"We kept them one and done for the most part," Moravia coach Clint Woodward said, "and we're finally moving the ball on offense and finding the open people. Our intensity was good for the whole game."

Rachel DeCook was at the forefront of Moulton-Udell's offensive attack with eight points and Addison Westercamp added six.

The Eagles bounced back to defeat Orient-Macksburg 33-27 in Bluegrass Conference action partly thanks to the majestic play of Westercamp, who poured in a career-high 17 points and corralled 12 rebounds.

Moulton-Udell trailed 23-10 at halftime, but the Eagles outscored the Bulldogs 23-4 in the second half on their way to picking up the win. Katie Selvy bolstered Moulton-Udell's offense with eight points.

Moravia (4-6) plays host to Bluegrass Conference opponent Mormon Trail today. The Eagles (2-6, 1-4) plays at Diagonal today in a Bluegrass Conference game.
