LAMONI —  The Moulton-Udell girls basketball team fell to Lamoni 50-30 Tuesday in Bluegrass Conference action.

Natalie Potter spearheaded the Eagle offense, leading Moulton-Udell with 14 points and seven rebounds. Rachel DeCook added six points and finished with a team-high three steals. Eagle Mandalyn Martin was active on defense and on the boards, finishing with six rebounds and two blocks. Moulton-Udell’s Hailey Burgher dished out a team-high three assists.

“We had a great first quarter, but then we turned the ball over too many times,” Eagle coach Jason Ogden said. “It was a very physical game, and that took a lot out of us. “There were areas of the game that we played better. We have to do a better job of making adjustments.”

The Eagles (1-4,0-2) will try to pick up their first Bluegrass Conference game of the season when they play at Moravia Friday.
