Ottumwa makes the longest trip of its regular season as the Bulldogs head almost 200 miles and four hours north to Cerro Gerdo County to face Mason City for the first time on the road as a Class 4A, Division 3 rival.

When and Where: Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. next Friday night at Mason City Stadium in Mason City.

Last Season: Ottumwa snapped a three-game losing streak, picking up a Homecoming win at Schafer Stadium last year over the Mohawks 21-3. After struggling on offense through the previous three games, the Bulldogs finally got on track after a scoreless first quarter and a 34-yard Miguel Recinos.field goal gave Mason City a 3-0 second quarter lead. Alec Maas rushed for 172 yards on 32 carries and Seth Griffiths scored two rushing touchdowns after the Mohawk field goal to put the Bulldogs up 14-3 by halftime.
