Nathan Wood gets 100th Career Win

Among the drivers hired to race at Eldora tomorrow night, is legendary Dirt Late Model driver, Scott Bloomquist, of Mooresburg, Tennessee, who will be driving a truck owned by NASCAR driver, Kyle Busch. Bloomquist has won pretty much every big event for Dirt Late Models in his career but has never driven a NASCAR Truck.

It will be interesting to see if this experiment works as well as it does for the road course events. The trucks aren’t designed for dirt track events so we’ll see how the racing goes on the dirt track Wednesday night.

The Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa has their night of racing tomorrow night being sponsored by KISS FM 101.5. The Iowa Sportsman Series will be on the card of racing along with their regular weekly divisions.

Friday night at Eddyville Raceway Park will be a test-and-tune night along with the High School division back in action. Saturday is a regular bracket point’s race at Eddyville as well as being the Rick Reese Memorial event.

The Bloomfield Speedway has Spilman Auto Parts Night Saturday night and they are also having an Ugly Truck Contest. This should be pretty neat to see who will be crowned as having the ugliest truck.

The Knoxville Raceway has a night of racing Saturday night with Candi’e Flowers as the sponsor. The 305 Sprinters are scheduled on the night of racing along with the 410 and 360 Sprinters.

Figure 8 racing also returns to Barnes City on Saturday night.

Well I better go for this week. Thanks for reading. I’ll see you at the track. Gone racin’.
