FRIDAY’S RESULTS

Boys Shot Put Final

Eric Adam, SR, Pekin, finished 16th with a throw of 48-6.

Boys 100 Meter Dash Preliminaries

Alex Schultz, SR, Albia, finished 20th with a time of 11.54, did not qualify for finals

Girls Discus Final

Kate Birchmier, JR, Davis County, finished fourth with a throw of 135-5.

Girls Long Jump Final

Hayleigh Sharp, JR, Davis County, finished 12th with a jump of 16-4.5.

Taylor Richardson, JR, Oskaloosa, fouled out, did not place.

Boys High Jump Final

Connor Young, SR, Davis County, finished tied for 14th with a jump of 6-1.

Boys 4x200 Relay Final

Albia (Ryan Sarver, Brett Leshen, Luke Sarver, Schultz), finished fifth in a time of 1:29.52.

Girls 4x100 Relay Preliminaries

Ottumwa (Sarah Schulz, Ellie Hammack, Sarah Thordarson, Erin Sheehy), finished 49th in a time of 51.77, did not qualify for finals.

Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Abby Boyer, Sadie Baugher, Karlie Taylor, Alexander), finished 57th in a time of 52.05, did not qualify for finals.

Boys 4x100 Relay Preliminaries

Albia (R. Sarver, Leshen, L. Sarver, Schultz), finished 19th in a time of 44.02, did not qualify for finals.

Davis County (Mathew Hopkins, Dalton Kanselaar, Young, Andrew Cowles), finished 43rd in a time of 44.57, did not qualify for finals.

Fairfield (LaQuan Hill, Austin Francisco, Dakota Nye, Johnathon Hoehne), finished 60th in a time of 45.07, did not qualify for finals.

Oskaloosa (Max Johnson, Spencer Medlin, Mason Wisse, Ki-Jana DeJong), finished 63rd in a time of 45.15, did not qualify for finals.

Boys 4x400 Relay Preliminaries, 9:08 p.m.
