---- — LIBERTY CENTER – A season of improved play for the Seymour Warriorettes ended on Monday with a loss in Class 1A, Region 7 First Round play. The young squad from southern Appanoose County fell at Southeast Warren in an opening postseason contest as a 10-run opening inning paved the way to a 13-0, three-inning victory.
Only three base runners reached for Seymour, which will return all but one player from lineup that started Monday’s regional contest. The Warriorettes wrap up the season with a 7-15 record.
