---- — OTTUMWA — Albia's Cassie Crall and Oskaloosa's Kathryn Wilson both earned berths to their state golf tournaments at their regionals Monday.

Crall shot a 93 and tied for fourth in a Class 3A Lakeview Golf and Country Club in Chariton.

"We are thrilled as a team for Cassie," Lady Dee coach Michael Duea said. "Our girls know she belongs there, as she has had these team-leading scores all year for us.

"We still have a week left with Cassie, but the team effort has been great fun this year as it concludes with this tournament. There would be no way to have a better group of girls and I see the journey still has improvement left for next year."

Meanwhile, Wilson tied for fifth with Gabi Scarpa of Clear Creek-Amana with a score of 90 strokes in a Class 4A Regional at the Edmondson Golf Club in Oskaloosa.

Both girls state tournaments will take place on May 28-29 at the Ames Golf and Country Club
