Hawkeye coach to help run wrestling camp

---- — The Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Wrestling Club will put on its Future Champs Youth Camp Aug. 3-4.

The first session, which will be for grades K-6, will be from 3-5 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday. Session two, which will be for grades 7-12, will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 -12:30 p.m. Sunday. The two-day camp will cost $50 per camper and it will include a camp T-shirt. Twenty-five dollars will be added for an additional sibling (group/team rate 10 + $40 each). For a registration form, visit or contact Brett Little at or 641-295-0116.

Ryan Morningstar, an assistant wrestling coach at the University of Iowa, will be the featured camp clinician. Morningstar had a fine wrestling career before he entered the world of coaching. His portfolio of accomplishments includes being a three-time Iowa High School State Champion, a Junior National Freestyle Champion, a University Freestyle National Champion and a two-time All-American at the University of Iowa.
