SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. —
In search for the perfect playing conditions to open their season, the Indian Hills baseball team has routinely found Arizona to be best location to get in plenty of games in true baseball weather.
That was until Friday when the Falcons were supposed to play their first game of this year’s trip west against the Arizona State Club Team. Rain showers in Scottsdale forced IHCC into a rare postponement of a contest in the desert.
“We’ve been coming here for so many years and have never once ran into any weather problems,” Indian Hills head baseball coach Cam Walker said. “It’s hard to believe it, but the weather finally found us.”
IHCC will face the ASU Club team again on Monday. The rematch is scheduled to be a doubleheader on Monday in Scottsdale starting at 5 p.m.
