MSAE boys dominate at home match

FAIRFIELD — The Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment boys’ tennis team left no doubt Tuesday, as the Pioneers trounced Burlington 9-0.

Not only did MSAE (6-0) not lose a match, it never even lost a set. The closest the Pioneers came to dropping a set was when Surya Sawhney and Girinda Selleck “only” won their second set against Zach Swink and Brett Werner by a margin of 6-3 in No. 1 doubles.

Raffi Gelfand, Avery Mullenneaux and Sawhney didn’t yield one game to their opponents in singles action and Sam Stickels only dropped one game to Swink in No. 1 singles action.
