Bulldogs bowl over East

“I actually think our JV bowlers adjusted a lot better to the lanes than our varsity guys. They bowled outstanding,” Salter said of the OHS boys. “We have a couple guys that are really close to the varsity squad. Those guys out-bowled our varsity guys. It might get a little interested as the season continues.”

“We’re still working on the varsity team and we’ll take the best team we can up there,” Techel said of the OHS girls. “It was a good measuring stick for those girls trying to lock down spots on the varsity team.”

Both Ottumwa bowling teams are now 7-0 overall this season and 3-0 in the CIML Metro Conference. Both Bulldog squads will next compete at Johnston on Tuesday afternoon starting at 3:45 p.m.
