OTTUMWA — Roger Blew, 46, of Glenwood, Missouri, was taken into custody in Wapello County on an outstanding warrant last week.
Blew most recently was charged with two counts of felony animal abuse as a persistent offender in Schuyler County, Missouri
In December 2014, Blew was convicted on several counts of animal neglect and cruelty of animals in Davis County. He was sentenced to one year in jail, but all but 10 days were suspended.
Blew was taken into custody at 11:53 a.m., May 7, at the Wapello County Law Enforcement Center, for an outsanding warrant of failure to appear on a charge of driving while barred.
He served two days in jail before he was released.
