OTTUMWA — An Ottumwan has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of delivery of methamphetamine following a search of his home.
On Thursday, law enforcement officials executed a search warrant at 2224 W. Main St. As a result of the search, officers seized items consistent with the distribution of controlled substances.
Raymond William Wiseman Jr., 29, of 2224 W. Main St., was also arrested on outstanding arrest warrants for delivery of less than 5 grams of methamphetamine, a Class “C” felony, and two counts of delivery of more than 5 grams of methamphetamine, both Class “B” felonies.
The search was conducted by officers from the Wapello County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa Department of Public Safety Division of Narcotics Enforcement, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, Ottumwa Police Department Emergency Response Team and the Southeast Iowa Inter-Agency Drug Task Force.
Wiseman is currently being held in the Wapello County Jail on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
