School board elections are set for Sept. 13 across the state of Iowa.
Southern Iowa is no exception with a number of contested races on area ballots.
Of note, there are also some public measures on this year’s ballots and voters in the Eddyville-Blakesburg and Fremont school districts will decide whether or not the two districts should merge beginning with the 2012-13 school year.
Polls are scheduled to be open from 12-8 p.m. that day, although some polls may open as early as 7 a.m. Voters will want to check with their county auditors as to specific times and polling locations.
