ALBIA — There were no local contested races on the Marion County ballot Tuesday.
The county had two board of supervisors seats open, and two names on the ballot. Republican Michael Beary was the top vote-getter with 2,667 votes. Democrat John Hughes collected 2,350 votes, according to unofficial totals.
Democrat Amanda Starcevic Harlan was uncontested for auditor, and Democrat Daniel Johnson was uncontested for the sheriff’s seat. Harlan received 3,022 votes and Johnson received 3,044.
