OTTUMWA — Sen. Bernie Sanders will be in Ottumwa on Sunday as part of a campaign swing through southeast Iowa.

Sanders is seeking the Democratic Party’s nomination for president. His visit to the area includes two stops. The first is a rally at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Fairfield High School, 605 E. Broadway Ave.

The Fairfield visit is being followed by a rally in Ottumwa at 6 p.m. That stop is scheduled for Bridge View Center.

Both events are free. Those planning to attend are encouraged to RSVP through the Sanders campaign website, but entrance is on a first-come, first-served basis.
