On Tuesday, voters of the 41st State Senate district will head to the polls for a special election to fill the vacancy caused by Mariannette Miller-Meeks' election to the U.S. House.

Senate District 41 covers the southwestern half of Wapello County, including Ottumwa; a large portion of Jefferson County, including Fairfield; and all of Davis and Van Buren counties.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday. For more information, voters should contact their local county auditor.
