DES MOINES — The Ottumwa High School girls soccer team spotted Des Moines North a quick lead, but Joselyn York and Elisabeth Modalen scored about 20 minutes apart to give the Bulldogs a 2-1 lead at halftime of a CIML Metro game that was postponed because of lightning Tuesday in Des Moines.

PACKWOOD — The Pekin High School boys track team won a dozen events — six individual events and six relays — during the three-team Panther Relays Tuesday in Packwood.

MOUNT PLEASANT — The Fairfield High School girls tennis team posted its second straight shutout as the Trojans dominated Mount Pleasant 9-0 in a Southeast Conference dual meet Thursday at East Lake Park.
