OSCEOLA – Kaylee Weber battled her way to one final double-double on Friday night, scoring 13 points while hauling in 18 rebounds for the Sigourney girls basketball team in a 52-33 loss to Lenox in the Class 1A, Region 8 semifinals.

Sigourney was limited to just 11 field goals by Lenox, including 3-22 shooting from behind the 3-point line. The Tigers also forced the Savages into 26 turnovers, gradually pulling away over the final 14 minutes after Sigourney closed the Lenox lead to 23-20 early in the second half.
