OSKALOOSA — 15 teams were in attendance at Edmundson Golf Course for the Oskaloosa Invitational on Tuesday. The 90 boys battled some tough conditions with wind, firm greens and some dry weather that led to some high scoring.

PELLA — The second-ranked (2A) Pella boys tennis team held their annual invitational on a chilly Saturday at Caldwell Park. Pella would edge out a good Boone squad by 10 points while their JV team placed third with 80 points.

NORFOLK, NE — Chloe Olson had a front-row seat to history last March as Brooke Snider made history, breaking the program record for career home runs by hitting her 36th in what proved to be the only home doubleheader of the season for the Indian Hills Warriors in 2020.

OTTUMWA — Ottumwa's O.B. Nelson Post No. 3 came within one win of clinching a trip to the Iowa American Legion state baseball tournament on Saturday.

DES MOINES — It took the best runners in the state to beat Isaac Eaton to the finish line for the first time this season in the 400-meter hurdles.
