OHS girls cross-country team had strong front-runners

OTTUMWA — The Ottumwa High School girls will be hosting a cross-country camp next week. The camp will be held Aug. 5-9 and will include various running workouts, nutrition information, a night glow run along with other fun games and activities.

The camp is free with the exception of a two dollar cost for a yoga session held on Monday. The camp begins at 7 p.m. The first camp meeting at the Bridge View Center parking lot.

Kristen Mitchell, OHS head cross-country coach, and assistant coach Joss Teed will lead all camp activities. For more information, please email joss.teed@ottumwaschools.com.

The OHS cross country season begins August 12. Ottumwa's first meet of the season will be held at Marshalltown on Thursday, Aug. 29.
