MARSHALLTOWN — Something about the Marshalltown Bobcats seems to bring out the best in the Ottumwa bowling team.

OTTUMWA – Andy Maw, who has been served as the president of the Ottumwa Soccer club growing the sport locally on the youth level, is set to take over the reins as the head coach of the Ottumwa High School boys soccer team.

OTTUMWA — The Ottumwa Bulldog and Cardinal Comet archery programs opened their respective 2019-20 seasons competing this past weekend in Eddyville at the Rocket Archery tournament.
OTTUMWA – Head coaches Doug Techel and Tom Maher will be presenting “Meet the Bowlers” at Champion Bowl on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 4 p.m. The event is a chance for fans to meet the members of the Ottumwa High School girls and boys bowling teams.
OTTUMWA – The Ottumwa archery program will be holding their first practice sessions for the upcoming season next week. Practices will be held for elementary, middle school and high school students starting on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 6 p.m.
MARSHALLTOWN – In her fourth and final season as a high school cross-country runner, Ottumwa senior Alli Bookin-Nosbisch qualified for her fourth and final state cross-country race on Thursday in Marshalltown.

KEOKUK – The Ottumwa girls swimming team scored a fourth and final dual win this season on Tuesday night in Keokuk. The Bulldogs, shifting several different swimmers into new events, beat the Chiefs 70-50 thanks to wins in seven different races.
