Panthers return from cross-country camp (2-4 column photo)

Last Tuesday through Saturday, the Pekin cross-country teams took part in their annual cross-country camp at Camp Mitigwa near Boone. During the week, the runners put on many miles on trails, roads, parks and did swimming workouts in the pool preparing for another season filled with high expectations. Attending the camp were 48 runners, 14 parents along with coaches Davis Eidahl, Sarah Wright, Art Millikin and Morgan Barnard. The cross-country season officially began this week with the start of all practices for fall sports despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
