Indian Hills easily disposed of North Central at the Illinois Central Tournament on Friday in Peoria.

The Warriors and head coach Terry Carlson won by scores of 25-10, 25-14 and 25-20.

Indian Hills moved a game above .500 at 7-6 on the year.

Wynter Davis led the Warriors with 12 kills. She was 15-16 hitting. Carly Wehling was 14-17 serving with five aces. Wehling also paced the defensive attack for IHCC with 12 digs.

Carlson is in the process of fine-tuning his roster and gearing up for four-straight home dates, starting with Southeastern on Tuesday at the Tom Arnold Net Center in Ottumwa.

“Hopefully we’ll know who our primary players are going to be by the end of the weekend,” said Carlson.

Carlson stated the competition will be stiffer today when IHCC starts the day at 10 a.m. versus Illinois Central. The Warriors then play Mineral Area at noon.
